2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe

The Duplex 2205 Pipe is made with a high concentration of nickel, chromium, and ferrous in their composition. These pipes are resistant to corrosion and erosion in different mediums. The products from this grade are neither fully austenitic nor ferritic. Duplex 2205 Tube can be easily machined and fabricated. These tubes show excellent resistance against crevice corrosion, sulfide ion cracking, and pitting due to various acids. 

Duplex structure: 2205 duplex stainless steel pipe has a duplex (austenitic-ferritic) microstructure, which combines the advantages of austenitic stainless steel and ferritic stainless steel. It has both good strength and toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. 

High strength: Compared with single-phase stainless steel pipes, 2205 duplex stainless steel pipes have higher strength and pressure resistance, and are suitable for conditions with high pressure and high temperature.

These pipes are available in plain, beveled and threaded tubing ends. The 2205 Pipe Sizes are available in single random, double random, and cut lengths. These pipes are produced in rectangular, circular, square, u-lop, and other shapes. In the Astm A790 Uns S31803 grade pipes and tubes can be cold-rolled to give them enhanced properties and good resistances in different systems. They are very versatile in different applications.
